ABOUT PAULY'S PRETZELS

How We Got Here, all "twisted and knotty."

Pauly's Pretzels is headed by Paul Thomas. He got his start with soft pretzels in Philly as a young teenager in high school, selling fantastic soft pretzels (that he bought from a local Philly pretzel bakery) outside a local supermarket. He sold out every week.

Years later, as a young father living in NYC, he would make trips to Philly to that same bakery and bring them back to NYC to sell them, as well as show his kids how to buy low/sell high to create a simple business model. While selling these pretzels part-time with his kids at a friends' butcher shop, the nickname Pauly Pretzels came to be. But, a fulltime career kept Pauly from engaging deeper into this passion for bringing Pretzels to the People.

Then , in 2020, the bakery in Philly went out of business. That lit a spark in Pauly to bring that famous flavor, smell, texture, crumb and chew to the NYC Metro region.

in 2021, Pauly had a proof-of-concept launch that was focused in Rockaway, Queens, NY, where he lived. The acceptance and overwhelming demand increase within one summer was astounding. But, again, Pauly wasn't ready to go all in, due to a fulltime career commitment.

Three years later, in Sumer 2024, Pauly's Pretzels is officially launching!!

Pauly's will offer artisan, hand-twisted, fresh-baked fabulous twists of love in the form of soft pretzel products in the Hudson County region...and then the world!

Now... the vision of making great pretzels to drive a bigger mission of impact!
